“I think he’s got you dh. he would of course know more about this businesss than you do.”
yeah, exactly. haha
it’s not like they do free intern work to build their resume/portfolio then get a bunch of freelance gigs elsewhere that pay 20k for 2 weeks of work. that doesn’t happen.
“DH, please, it’s a known FACT that the glamor and vanity industries are pretty much intern-ville and people who work for less than day laborers, yet they all have fabulous apartments. and even if they live in non fabulous areas of the city, the numbers STILL dont add up..”
*rob*
Is that the reason you don’t get along with 11217?
I thought he said he worked in that industry at one time.

95% of the people that work at Conde Nast are not interns.
“but for Vogue, GQ, vanity fair, allure, Bon appetit employees a there’s gonna be some issues.”
Restaurant people will be disappointed. NONE of those people eat. They start freaking out that lettuce has too many calories. Those girls are stick insects, surviving on cigarettes and Diet Coke.
Now isn’t this the most presumptuous, condescending, closed minded, bigotted thing I’ve ever heard here on the OT.
@ the thought of interns trying to look fierce but getting a FAIL.
A spinal tap is not like an MRI,
the spinal tap is an invasive procedure the MRI is a diagnostic test, unless they have to give you a dye with the MRI, then it is considered somewhat invasive.
For the spinal tap the patient is layed on their side in a sort of fetal position.
They have to get the right anatomical landmarks since they are injecting into the sac containing the cerebro-spinal fluid. There is a small area where the spinal chord does not extend into so it’s safe to put a needle there to draw out the fluid. It’s clear as water, just a little thicker.
The most moonface industry is publishing, hands down.

Dave, you spelled bigoted wrong, you ignorant dolt. 🙂
Apparently no one can think of a Spinal Tap song to post.

And a spinal tap hurts like hell from what I’ve heard.
