never mind taxes. I just spent $1400 for oral surgery. He gave me 1/2 price since redoing same tooth as 10 years ago and it failed. 45 minute procedure.
I wonder why these arguments from the left seem to concentrate on the thousand or so outliers who are billionaires. A simple function of our economic system.
Relax, most of those billionaires re-invest in the system anyway or give it away.
What you should be more concerned with is how to sustain prosperity using time-tested models of free-market economics which we ourselves have found to be successful here in the US.
Sometimes I get the idea that people just don’t see the entire picture.
“…neglects to mention that those wage earners make tons more than back in olden days while lower income has stagnated and gone down.”
The best way to help the middle class is to provide with jobs.
And that doesn’t mean fake-ass government jobs which are based on an ever dwindling tax base.
My laptop arrived this morning and I brought it home during lunch. I then at a chicken swarma sandwich at my desk, shoving it into my face and gnawing away at it for the parts with the tahini in it, as I had to be somewhere at 12:45. I looked up and fortunately no one was around to witness this disgusting spectacle, however. Next time I need to tell him extra tahini.

Just because they’re paying a lot, deosn’t mean they’re paying enough.

cliche – for small business….that is the line they always drag out.
Only small businesses that make that kind of money are illegal drug cartels.

What do you think should be done to correct the situation that is not happening, DIBS.
Meanwhile, income for the top percents has increased tremendously over the past 30-40+ years. So why shouldn’t they pay more tax!
