  1. I believe it’s a constitutional right.

I also believe that the discussion should be on a purely legal, secular and constitutional basis and that the religious organizations need to stay the fuck out or lose their tax exempt status.

  2. I figured that’s where you would be DIBS. Support, obviously, but not care all that much.

A lot of married people have similar views on male-female marriage.

  3. Biff I read that letter. It’s ridiculously vague. What exactly are they asking the President to do? Here is the conclusion:

“We ask you to complete your journey and join us and the majority of Americans who support the freedom to marry.”

“Complete your journey?” The fuck does that even mean?

Why don’t I take a crack at re-writing the letter so it has a scrap of logic to it:

“We ask you to use all available means to cause the Internal Revenue Service to recognize same-sex marriages and civil unions that are legally entered into under state law.”

  4. I don’t have strong views. I support it of course. It would seem that I’m more interested in violating the sanctity of marriage on a day to day basis.

  5. I think I lost at least a few IQ points by watching that video.

I had a good friend in college from Japan who could act like that at times.

  6. Commodities are all down sharply as well. Silver is back below it’s recent low.

All this should eventually be better for the stock market.
