    Good. Well I’m going to spend the rest of my day “supporting same sex marriage.” I’ll probably be exhausted after a long day of doing that, but I’m sure it will be worth the effort.

    1. Step 1: Support same sex marriage.

    2. Step 2: Everyone can gay marry anywhere they want.

    Tomorrow I’m going to “support my own financial success” – I’ll be rich by the end of the day!

  3. When people who have similar levels of income marry, their total taxes go up – this is the “Marriage Penalty.”

    When people of different income levels get married, their total taxes go down.

  4. Excellent piece in yesterday’s WSJ about the deleterious effects of the teachers’ unions on public education and on politics in NYC, especially in the Democratic party.

    Note that Joel Klein is a Democrat (he was in the Clinton Administration), grew up in a housing project, is a product of NYC’s public education system and is dedicated to its improvement.
