  1. I liked First Communion and Confirmation. Loved those white envelopes, baby. Lots of CASH. For first Communion, I had a little plastic pocketbook, and in it a little white prayerbook with white leather and gold letters and gold on the side of the pages. I had a scapula, which is this thing you wear on the inside of your clothes like a ribbon with holy pictures that go on your back and your chest, a set of rosaries. I wore a beautiful dress, a lace veil, white gloves, white socks and white eyelet shoes. I was very sincere and very pure. This is a mega family occasion, i.e. bring out the 47 first cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents. VERY special. Re comments yesterday about serious alcohol consumption in those days, the uncles usually finished up the parties red-faced, laughing and semi-dragged home by my aunts.

  2. My laptop came with Vista- albeit SP2 (or 3?). I loved it . Still do. I know earlier versions were very problematic but I haven’t had a speck of trouble with vista. My desktop runs Win7.

  3. Kens, I’m not union bashing. Just chumming the waters for our resident “Singing Senators”, i.e., Ashcroft, Craig, Jeffords and Lott. I leave it to others to determine who is whom.
