If you live near 4th Ave, parking in the Slope is doable. I live near 4th Ave and keep a car on the street. The reason it is doable is that 3rd Ave is nearby, and there is plenty of parking there in the evenings, after the workers leave.

ive never not had anyone come to park slope who drove who couldnt find a spot pretty easily. but none of these people cared about getting tickets.
