Newspaper: “Prominent businessman found in bed with 5 nazi hookers!”
Prominent businessman: “How dare you call them nazis!”
Sounds like the kind of exchange Silvio Berlusconi would have.
There was a very funny Onion headline recently – something along the lines of “Silvio Berlusconi gets penis stuck inside of wine bottle stuck inside of prostitute.”
on the flip side… what about the truly richie richies in soho who pay like 1000 dollars a month for a ginormous loft? and there are MANY of them. go after them, not the senior citizen in the oxygen mask! and those types of benefitted from the loft laws of the 70s are always in the NYTimes bragging about their windfalls!!! ALWAYS!!!
ill put that here too since there is a bi conversation going on about it

prezanon, if you dont like “Slum” reference, you should bitch out Mr B and crew for using that reference in his thread header.
m4l- my comment wasn’t serious :-), i hope you know. i failed to make the smiley face :-). I didn’t read all the comments on the slum thread but people were taking issue with certain types of labeling (i think). Btw, I adore your wife jokes.
I am not talking about the govt, jackal. I am objecting to the focus so many put this morning on the supposed lack of responsibility of the tenants. Saying RC is bad economics or bad policy by govt does not absolve a LL’s responsibility if that LL buys into the system after the policy is set.
Slopey is right. And the car analogy was spot on.

prezanon, I know you were joking. I was merely clarifying I didnt call it slum but rather it was Mr B & crew deciding the slum thread header.
if you’re confused if I’m mad at you or not, then I’m not. cause if I’m mad at you, it will come across very blatantly obvious.

You need to brush up on your baseball, dh. That’s not “left” field he’s playing.

Do you notice, DH, that at the extreme ends of the spectrum, they are more alike than not? 🙂
jackal is just taking a stance way off in left field to be provocative.
