bxgrl, tough for your sister and brother-in-law. But wendy has only been teaching here for a year or two so I think she is much more vulnerable this year.
I’m back jessi. Thanks for asking. As much as I was trolling around for a nooner, I went to the hedge Fund Lunch instead.
Much to my surprise, one of the regulars brought his research assistent along.
He was a drop dead gorgeous half Asian guy with young Tom Cruise looks. Needless to say I mentally undressed him about 5-6 times during the course of the lunch.
Since everyone’s probably leaving early today I think this is an appropriate early start to raunch hour.
In general, I would go not to a place with that level of security warnings, not just because of the safety aspect but also because of the likelihood of closings, disruptions, and other hassles.
Prez – thanks for the links. I guess what I was trying to ask is this: would people go despite the warnings? Either because it’s “cool†to go someplace assumed to be dangerous or because it doesn’t make sense to live in fear… I’m likely not going to go now, but feel badly for the tourism industry and admittedly the danger does add something for me.
Are they still sticking to that first in, first out nonsense?

“I walked from union square to twin peaks (got there at sunset) last night and then back.”
Did you have any fun in the nearby woods???????????

Wow, Pete, that’s a hike! Have you gone up to Marin/Mt. Tam yet?
When’s Dave getting back from his nooner already.
BHS, very well written — the succinct and logical male point of view. add to the above, jb, possibilities of being detained.
(I had a much longer thing, going around in circles about fears, danger, etc.)
