I feel this isn’t rational and is illustrated when taken to the not-very-extreme. Based on the statement above, one could extrapolate and wonder if you, for example, dislike taking your laundry to a Chinese laundromat, dislike having your shoes shined by a latino, dislike having yardwork done by Mexicans, dislike having your hair cut my an Italian, etc. etc. Do you only accept services from white people?

It’s about the prototypical Hollywood wife who was married to Johnny Carson’s Producer; Fred DeCordova.
Wealthy people with big connections to the Reagan White House.
Anyway, it unfolds during her last days living alone in Beverly Hills with her lifelong housekeeper. A woman from Mexico whom she had come to love as a sister. The feelings were mutual apparently, and as the lady of the house went became too frail and elderly to help herself it appeared that she was destined to be left alone and without means as her fortune had whittled away over years of lavish spending.
In a classic twist, the housekeeper, it seems, had been saving away for decades and had built a home for her own retirement in Mexico modelled after the mansion in Beverly Hills.
In the end, the lady of the house was welcomed to Mexico by her housekeeper, now her family, complete with furnishings and surroundings transported to her new home where she spent her last days.
I don’t buy your argument above about why so many people use outside help these days. Here is the situation in my condo (and I’m not trying to brag here, just stating the facts):
-Benson (almost alone in his condo): will take a vacation day in the next two weeks to clean all of the windows and sliding doors in his condo. As Denton just said, he probably has more assets than most folks in the condo.
-Most young couples in my condo: use EVERY vacation day away with the kids. Hire someone to clean their windows and sliding glass doors. Complain about having no time and money.
