  1. The thing is, once the air gets forced up into the joists it’s not like it just stays there. I has to go *somewhere*.

I seem to recall finding the same issue with a half bath in the house I bought in CT and deciding I didn’t care enough to start ripping apart the ceiling to route a duct to the outside.

  2. the closest thing to pure capitalism is drug dealing. That’s why I’ve often hired kids out of the joint. They don’t need economic training. They get business right away.

The second closest this was Russia after the collapse of communism.

  3. slopey’s my hero too.

I wonder how much of Legion’s income is derived from Medicare/Medicaid.

There are some good reasons for using type in PhotoShop, mainly the ability to run interesting filters on it that are not available in vector programs. As long as you are using the type at final size and do not plan to expand, it is fine.

  4. DIBS and Arkady, this is just a half bath – just terlet and sink, not shower, so there aren’t any real moisture issues, just buttsmell. It’s in the middle of the house so to route a duct to the outside would be a major undertaking.

  5. Sorry – cat stepped on the keyboard. Put the bag up there, see if it picks up a lot of moisture & then determine what to do. I there a vent nearby you can tap into? Is it a full bath or just a toilet?

  6. lech- dibs is 100% correct. If you’ve opened the ceiling, I’d let it stay that way for a while so it can dry out. You might even get one of those dessicant bags that are sold for keeping closets dry.
