Mopar, how much of an increase is she talking about? My rent went up $20 per month this year and I was just plain grateful (not saying you should accept an increase, my situation is totally different as I am paying below market rate for my nabe)
I’m totally upset because my landlady wants to raise the rent. It’s already at market rate, the building is not maintained, and we pay for our own heat and repairs. But the bottom line is we can’t move now. So I feel helpless but outraged.
