  1. oh you want it on your computer. ugh. im a puricist. (spelling?) i do NOT playing video games on my computer i only play video games on their ORIGINAL SYSTEMS and ONLY hooked up to TV’s that existed during their original commercial run. with music i prefer cd’s and records but now just watch youtube videos and use off brand MP3 players with disdain. i did get turned on to free internet porn tho and dont particularly miss going to the porno stores and wastching money on stupid ass DVD’s where what was advertised on the covers was totally NOT what was on the DVD’s :-/

    video games – purist

music – it depends on who is listening to it with me really

books – need the real book in my hand, sorry i dont do kindle and ipads for that cuz i LOVE folding pages, marking up pages, and loving the book is a mangled mess by the time im done reading it (fyi when i borrow books i dont do that…)

porn – now all about the internet. what do i do with like 1000 porno dvds?! when i moved outta the LES i left over 200 porno VHS’s on the doorstep of i shan’t name cuz it will make me look evil.

  2. I also used Prodigy, BBS’, and AOL. When I got my first job out of college I got a Compuserve account the company paid for.

I think my first modem was a 2400 baud, but I used a 1200 for a while after the 2400 got fried in a lightening storm.

What I wouldn’t give to have Tetris or FreeCell on my work computer.

cuz i like you… I have 3 original 1989 nintendo gameboys and i believe 2 copies of the original tetris that came with it. old school GLORY. you just need 4 AA batteries and it’s b&w (well pea soup) gaming at it’s best. youre more than welcome to a loose copy of tetris and one of the gameboys I have. there is no need for me to have multiple versions of this crap. im not really a hoarder! (ask snappi she saw my place.. im not a hoarder..)

  5. The bank I worked for was like that, they gave you nothing. And when I had to sit there are 10 at night waiting for things to review…I was ready to chew on my arm for entertainment.

  6. rf, thanks, but I need it on my work computer so I can play in a minimized window. I can’t sit with a handheld. Just like it’s nearly impossible for me to text or email from my personal BlackBerry while at work.

Oh, she’s on AIM when she’s home with the computer! And lots of Facebook messaging. And videotexting!

i do NOT envy parents these days. the cyberworld was sketchy when i was a teenager first on it (at 14 and up) on prodigy, BBS’, etc, then AOL, but i was totally interacting with sketchy strangers back then… i guess the one saving grace parents have these days is that their kids are pretty much talking to their actual friends for the most part and things are so much easier to trace and track? i dont know, i remember being 14 and talking to some mad ass weirdos online… the hilite of it? getting into a red convertible with one who was picking up everyone to go to a picnic (!) who didnt have a ride and then winding up locked in an animal cage in a garage somewhere in bumblefuck new jersey. (the thing tho is that it’s way more innocent then it sounds). there were like 100 people at this party… a local BBS sysop gave the party every year at his house… but somehow i wound up in a giant cage in the garage. i probably deserved it lol. i sorta miss those days :-/
