Rob, those were not legit pet shops. those were random shops that were selling them baby turtles.
donatella, I once went with a friend to buy some fishes in chinatown. We went to a place at 46 Delancey st (& Eldridge). place was decent size and it carried a wide range of fishes.

I meant Chinatown in Brooklyn. 8th Av around 49th.
I think there were plans a few years ago to build a large waterpark on Randalls Island.
lots of things are great and better to get in chinatown.. veggies, massages, bootleg stuff, import video games, however i would absolutely NOT advise a pet store, especially one for aquatic life. there was a huge expose about pet stores in chinatowns filthy contaminated with samonella from illegal turtles and other stuch marine life.. i dont think it’s worth the risk.

Hobo, I was only looking around Paulus Hook & Van Vorst Park section only and that area is refine enough for me
lol weird cuz pretty much everything in that email i get every month with discounts takes place in nyc! hmm looked at the email and this month has things from all over the place. ah well. nyc could use a good waterpark tho. adults only, please!
