  1. I rarely, if ever get cavities. My problem ws biting into something that wasn’t supposed to be in the hamburger. As in metal. Cracked the tooth right in half. Saw stars.

I had a horrible dentist a a child- a very sweet man but heavy handed. The novocaine shots were so bad I would take the drilling without it. One time he had to drill so deeply he was begging me to take the novocaine but i was too terrified. 9 year old children should not be making decisions like that.

  2. “When I go to the dentist I always decline the local anesthesia for routine hygenist visits.”

My dentist & hygenist numb my gums even for cleanings because I get so TENSE that it makes them TENSE!

  3. When I go to the dentist I always decline the local anesthesia for routine hygenist visits.
I always think to myself how I wish I had shark teeth that replace themselves like a conveyor belt.
That seems to get me through the pain.

  4. I agree with CGar and cobble,

It is what you choose it to be in the end or as the Beatles put it:
    “…and in the end,
    the love you take,
is equal to the love you make.”
