DH, you failing to footnote that line (like you do with the Robesque posts), it confused Benson.
I would be thrilled if a moderate Republican came out of some governors mansion and ran next year, but given the current power that the extremists have I think such a candidate would have a hard time getting past the early primaries.
On the other hand, a year is a long time.
