DIBS, dont air it on the OT if you dont want nosey intruders. I can be bribed easily but threats/warnings have zero effect on me (except for maybe BSM’s boy toy with them various colors of belts).
*rob* just curious. Why did you start talking about doctors on the J train thread? Are you looking for one? I have a great GP and Dentist but, both are in Astoria.
“It’s like when you’re invited to call a doctor or teacher by his first name but, as far as your brain’s concerned, the ‘doctor’ or ‘mister’ is part of the name & it’s hard to change.”
This is true. My sister and I still usually call our parents’ friends “Mr” and “Mrs” automatically, usually to their irritation.
“Guess what the guy with the Mercedes calls me.â€
That old dude from the glory hole?

“I don’t like the use of “esquire.” It’s meaningless and pompous.â€
Agreed. But, if someone uses it in their email signature, it’s an often a clue as to whether they are an insecure douche.
I refer to some of my neighbors by their first names and others I call Mr. or Mrs.
Sometimes I go by “Sir” and sometimes by “Bitch’ depending upon the roleplay situation.
“someone at a party introduces themself as doctor so and so”
It’s bad manners for someone to introduce themselves with a title in a social setting, at least to another adult.
I don’t like the use of “esquire.” It’s meaningless and pompous.
