Go to Alchemy, right near BAM.
Oh I just looked up Scopello’s and I ate there before. No offense but the place is terrible. Any Italian place that can’t cook the pasta right to the correct consistency that pasta needs to be, is a sorry excuse for an Italian restaurant.
I usually trust Dave’s tastes in food but if he finds this place to be good, I don’t know what else to say…..
Any other recommendations in the area? I might go to Olea as Delepp recommended it before and I went there for brunch and it was excellent.
Kens, scopella is italian joint and it’s adjacent to smoke joint (ie 2 store fronts from Corcoran office on Lafayette).

no, but the woman in the deli where i get my iced coffee mocks me everytime i say “only half ice” and sometimes she gets all nasty and screams “I KNOW I KNOW!!!!” and then she fills it full of ice sometimes randomly hiding what she is doing. grrrr
