Legion’s dose of reality on Presidential race:
By no means is President Obama a shoe-in for 2012.
I think my friends here on the OT have been watching a little too much of the Rachel Maddow show.
What will the President run on?
Healthcare, his signature issue?
Support for that is fading fast even by seniors.
Economy?
Gallup still has unemployment at 10% with the IMF even questioning the sanity of our policies.
Foreign policy?
The all-over-the-place style of foreign policy without a core policy appears to be sending allies and enemies alike into disarray.
Oil prices?
I’m paying $4.19 per gallon now, it’s projected to move up to $5.00 this year.
Try getting elected when Americans can’t even drive out of town for a family vacation.
There are numerous state Governors mulling over the possibility of running for President.
Any single one of them can lay claim to more experience than this President had when he took office.
no, but the woman in the deli where i get my iced coffee mocks me everytime i say “only half ice” and sometimes she gets all nasty and screams “I KNOW I KNOW!!!!” and then she fills it full of ice sometimes randomly hiding what she is doing. grrrr
Kens, Olea is a long trek from BAM. think it was some meat dishes that DIBS loved at scopello. not pasta. but do agree if that bad pasta is as bad as bad rice at a sushi place
DH- I have a few fun stories about Manhattan doctors too. But in general I think the hospitals are poorer in Brooklyn- and that’s because the perception is only Manhattan hospitals are good- and they do get more money and attention.

We shall see.
Never had pasta at Scopello. the short ribs over risotto are incredible, as is the house dessert, some pocket of pastry filled with creamy ricotta.

I bet she’s Asian.
Kens, thanks for the plastic surgeon referral. Much appreciated. It’s either find a good one in Manhattan, or go back to Buenos Aires.

“If someone is going to ask someone to do something . . . over a public forum, and then ask questions . . . in a public forum”
> > > To what public forum are you referring, MM?
“revealing more information than one really should”
> > > In the OT? Whomever would do such a thing?
“AND then give the preparer a hard time for not being an accountant”
