antidote or remedy to the ubiquitous “pun”.
As we see here on the OT,
it’s ability to pop up in the strangest of
places and run rampant over a civil discussion,
is impressive.
Even prolific posters and expert cursers
are no match for a full blown case of
“pun-fest”.

no, just begging for freaking mercy.
Just ordered ipad2 online. supposed to get shipping to my office in 2-3 weeks. Got tired of checking in at BestBuy and Apple store to see if they have any on a weekly basis.

I suggest you take a walk around their complex during the daytime. The part built during the 70’s is the “Soviet bloc”, and makes for an ugly streetscape. I can appreciate that the river views must be great, but that part of RI is bleak, bleak, bleak.
I decided not to get cats after all:
Downside:
1. Pay for food
2. Clean up hair
3. $$$ for vet bills (though I wouldn’t pay for major stuff, if a pet dies it dies)
4. Clean up feces
5. Have to deal with pet somehow if we go on vacation
6. Ruins furniture
Upside:
1. Companionship? meh
I’m not altaring my original post.
