“it’s mind boggling how negative ive been about things for a while now.”
yeah dude – i hear ya! just gotta chill out. this winter has been shitty, i’ve definitely been in a funk as well. being broke in the winter probably sucks more than in the summer – since everything to do in the winter involves being indoors and paying $$$.
good weather is almost here – you can totally have vinegar sammich picnics in prospect park (or the bank of the gowanus canal, if you prefer) with ur dog. lots of free moonface music concerts and movies and stuff.
Trust me, I don’t want you to be a tofu humping flake either. That would suck royally! Balance is good. Congrats my friend. We’ll celebrate soon over sloppy joes.

Rob, it make me smile HUGELY to see you write about things that make you happy. I, therefore, am happy, too. I love it!
well i dont know if you saw my post the other day, but i found a book on a stoop and picked it up, it’s called “Living With Joy: Keys to Personal Power & Spiritual Transformations” by Sanaya Roman. He or She has a lot of good things to say! girl, it’s mind boggling how negative ive been about things for a while now. I don’t really want to be that way, but i also dont want to become a tofu humping flake either. :-/ hopefully ill find a balance.
If it was that apartment or the street, I would have to get an airmattress to put on the floor near the desk. I think. I couldn’t sleep in that crawl space. I would lose my mind.
My really crazy living arrangement was living in a beach house (no central heating) in one of the coldest and definately the snowiest in history winter of 2002/2003 when I came back from Kansas City. It was beach and ocean on one side, woods on the other, totally isolated…17 snow storms. No NYC plowing on the property.
“also waaaay passed the expiration date of HAVING TO HAVE A MANHATTAN ADDRESS! but honestly, keep her away from brooklyn.”
yeah – the fact that there are idiots willing to pay that much to live in a closet in Manhattan is a good thing.
although people pay a lot of money to live in pretty not-spectacular places in Brooklyn as well.
rents are so fucked up nowadays.
“vinegar sammich picnics”
don’t know why, but that made me HOWL!
ok…nite folks 🙂
I need about 5 martinis and a lap dance.

Me too. I was REALLY happy to hear your meditation on the rain, spring and the trees. Totally.
