I just had a little convo about various interesting topics with my doctor and we were discussing the immune system. He just came from a conference on the West Coast on HIV and one of the presenters (and a favorite pharmaceutical co of his) is Gillead.

He was telling me about how innovative they are combining drugs into one for the cocktail, that they have a different approach, that they were one of the first to allow for the production of generic brands (in India) for distribution cheaply in Africa. He told me that he thought that if anyone would discover the cure for AIDS, their R&D people would do it.

I was imagining Jessi doing something with them — somehow being involved with good deeds in Africa, helping control AIDS.
