donatella,
I’m afraid I don’t know anyone doing research in that field. I’ve known many doing research at NYU on Malaria.
Research is grueling. It’s a lot of time spent on sorting samples, centrifuging isolates and electrophoresis or Polymerase Chain Reaction sequences.
The same kind of patience required of monks translating texts in the dark ages. Difficult and time consuming but vital to the growth and development of knowledge.
I know Gilead. it’s got a market cap of $32B. There are other drug companies that make “cocktails” or combinations available in one pill. The days of taking 40 pill over the course of the day are loooong gone.
Not sure which drugs are generic now…certainly AZT is. Lots of drugs by many companies sold cheaply in third world countries.

Thanks Dave, I want to start following them, maybe buy some stock.
I’m versatile, m4l.
DIBS, isnt your preference for the interns to be working OVER you?
CGar, the most important is that class action waiver
I could use a few Asian interns working under me.

Randi, you sound depressed. Nobody is pissed at you.
CGar, make sure those interns sign your various waivers and confidentiality docs
