They are hypocrites. There are 23 total from both parties on the list, an indeterminate number of whom support the Tea Party. To my knowledge the Tea Party opposes farm subsidies.
So this may make a handful of people bad Tea Partiers, but it doesn’t argue against anything the Tea Party stands for.
i have the place to myself til sunday afternoon and im such a loser that i cant thing of a single thing to do except catch up on trashy reality tv that’s recorded on the DVR! and it feels weird. also im not 66% responsible for my dog instead of 33%! oof! my roommate and his boyfriend are in miami for a wedding and i sorta like their presence when they come home at night. i also haven’t walked my dog in the morning in like a year! gack!
he does that, then the dog walker during the day, then i do it after work and then we take turns late at night who takes him out. also my dog is a total grump ass when he realizes it’s just me and him in the apt for a while :-/ i am cat sitting tho and made some money, that is awesome and <3 my roommate’s boyfriend for paying me to do that, love extra cash at random times. anyway, gonna shower, catch up on reality tv, and just contemplate shit.
I know I saw front page stories on cnn.com and msnbc.com that directly explained the GE tax situation, and/or heavily featured Immelt’s defense.
I think I saw one or two others while browsing the news.
I don’t hear any of the GE naysayers supporting their outrage with any factual data of wrongdoing. The tax code in this case, for the most part, was fairly straighforward.
What tax-law policies were discussed in that article? What I mean is specific legislation on the books, its rationale, its upside and downsides and alternative policies that should be considered.

It must irk the liberals who want to hate on corporates that two of the biggest taxpayers are Exxon Mobil and Chevron
Scott;
I haven’t seen the coverage today. Where was it?

Most of the big media coverage of GE yesterday was pretty lame, with sensational headlines and opening paragraphs clearly meant to inspire outrage.
The coverage today seems to be more straightforward and explanatory.
