  3. A Pisces man can be everything you want him to be- or everything you don’t want him to be. A tide in his affairs is synonymous with opportunity. It requires a firm decision, determined action, and the ability to drown any old, soggy dreams that prevent success. The trouble is that some Pisces men never recognize that tide at its flood, even when it sloshes over their feet.

The Pisces man isn’t weak. It’s just that he may linger too long on a fading, silver star, and miss the bright sun¡©light of success. Not all Pisceans are gentle dreamers. But more of them than you can scatter with a pebble are. However, there is hope. There’s always hope, where there’s life. Although the world needs his lovely imagination only too desperately, there comes a time when the Pisces male has to go about the business of earning his potatoes. When he does that, he has a snap of it, because the Neptune intuition coupled with his clever mind can turn him toward sensible goals which could bring him fame and recog¡©nition-even wealth and immortality. If not all that (you can’t hit the jackpot every time), then at least respectability and comfortable security. Let’s hope that’s the kind of Pisces male you’re sailing with. Practically no other Sun sign can stop his potential under those circumstances.

Oh My God, Dave. That is so weirdly like me it freaked me out. Thanks for this though. With my big exhibition coming up I hope and believe that the second part of this equation is coming to fruition. I am definitely the happy dreamer type but the the power/success factor may be right around the corner. At the risk of completely giving away my already only marginally concealed identity I will let you guys know when my big photo show is going to be. It is at the number 1 gallery in the world for rock music photography (my specialty) and it will be this summer so be on the lookout. Thanks for all the birthday wishes guys and I will try not to milk it today!

  4. Dave,

Get two they’ll keep each other company. Then just keep them on a dry food diet and find someone to feed them on Saturdays.

They’ll be fine. At the very least much finer than living in a shelter 🙁

  5. benson, you’re right. At the last gathering someone asked me if I didn’t think hedge funds were responsible. I kind of ducked the question, not wanting to get into a lengthy discussion.

hedge funds come and go. Most of them actually have protected their clients money in the downturn to a greater degree than you may think. Its ONLY the bad one’s you are hearing about.

Ponzi schemes are ponzi schemes, they come in all forms. 99% of the hedge funds operate within the law. You may agree or disagree that some of the laws need to be changed but thats a different issue.

A lot of hedge funds got blown up with the closing of their prime broker (Bear Stearns or Lehman. The biggest part of this mess was created by easy money which many of the hedge funds took advantage of.

There are no hedge funds seeking or receiving TARP, TALF or any other free handout.

  6. dave- if you have 2 they’re fine for a couple of days- so long as you leave out dry food (yes- there are gourmet brands ) and water. MM has 2 lovely little ones- if wasder isn’t still thinking of them. Cats are better in pairs actually. Hordes are like kitty cossacks.
