cobblehiller, I’m so sorry to hear that. Sounds like you loved them both very much. When dad passed away, I often had dreams that he came back and I had a chance to say lots of things I always wanted to say to him and tell him my oldest child is named in his honour. He would have been thrilled to know that. Then I would wake up and sadness replaces those feelings. I still have that dream occassionally. Did you dream of your parents a lot too after they passed away?

I’ve lost both my parents Biff. Mom to cancer a long time ago, and Dad a little more recently. I was at my parents graves two weeks ago [the week I briefly went “off the grid”]. I miss them all the time. It gets a little easier with time, but it doesn’t ever get easy.
