We just got a call from the agent managing our condo rental in L.A. Our tenets are looking into buying another unit in our complex or one in the complex next door, and she was checking if we would be interested in selling.
I am not ready to compete with a foreclosure or a short sell on price, so it looks like we will have be be finding new tenets soon.
What fun.
Yeah, Dona, outside of the stigma of living with roommates at my age, I really think I’ve got a great situation – I get to live in that little village for the grand total of $900 in one of the oldest houses in the city. I guess I’m not building equity, but I’m okay with that for now since I’m not dropping a ton on rent.
Well, jessi, I am a little vulnerable now and ghetto life is wearing on me so maybe I am feeling nostalgic. It is like a little village up there in the North heights. You have supermarket, drycleaners, restaurants (ok not GOOD ones, except for noodle pudding,) great pizza, a place to get magazines (No magazines where I live!) lots of take out, butcher and the MOVIE THEATER with the sticky floor. ha. The whole car debate is theoretical if you live in Brooklyn Heights. Everything is there in walking distance. Where I am now, forget it. You definately need a car.
Where in LA is it?
I’ve got friends with a young kid who live out there.

Nice work, Cobble.
I’m a dedicated flosser myself.
I like Glide.
Thanks, Arkady. : )
Phew! I made it out alive!
No cavities/root canal, drillage, etc., happy gums (flossing pays off!), and no need to go back until 6 months from now.
HALLELUJAH!

LOL, M4L.
Nite all.
Donatella, truth be told. I’m very close to selling out on BK and moving to Manhattan.
DH, another opportunity for you to watch some NCAA basketball tonight.
JB, back off trying to poach Donatella from our hood.
