Braxton Hicks – the Alabama relatives of Toni Braxton who chew on hay in public.
Dave, I only had a few days to spend in the north and wanted to see stuff north of Chiang Mai – this was the most efficient way to get around up there – saw some cool stuff that I wouldn’t had seen otherwise ihcluding a boat ride on the Mekong River and seeing the border with Burma/Myanmar, and the Golden Triangle. Only had a guide that one day.

Bring the baby to the bar…no problemo. If he starts crying, we’ll just give him a tiny sip of Lech’s Jameson shot. Kid will be happy after that. Bleary eyed and drooling more than usual, but happy!

ET – did you go through labor? am totlly confused by braxton hicks – I keep having them – but they aren’t painful, just annoying!
Also, FWIW, I was told that a lot of people in Burma/Myanmar prefer Burma because as much as it’s a colonial name, Myanmar is the name given by a harsh dictator – so both aren’t the best. My tour guide in Thailand said Burma or Myanmar every time he referred to the country.
