Higher clearance is fine dibs. In fact higher is better because you can clean under the sofa easier. I really don’t like sofas that go all the way down to the ground or have a skirt or whatever so stuff gets lost and festers down there for ages.
But enough about my sofa needs….. I already hijacked the OT on this subject for a couple of hours yesterday.
I read on Effed in Park Slope that King Of Cupcakes closed – I am NOT surprised!
#1 – the cupcakes weren’t that great
#2 – the marketing/image was all wrong especially for Park Slope
#3 – the price point was too high
I don’t eat yoghurt but there’s a big recommendation in today’s Times for Hammond Dairy – esp the strawberry. It’s $1.75 for 6 oz. & sold at Union Sq. green mkt.
There isn’t really room for a vegetable garden DIBS. The backyard is quite small.
In other news, it was agreed this morning that we will get a camelback sofa, or something similar, with legs and a few inches of clearance so you can see under it.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

Best cupcake EVER is from The Chocolate Room. Chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting. Can’t get better than that.

I think camelbacks only come with relatively high legs…more like 10-12″, not 4-5″
