Also Gem, there’s a football hold (the reverse from breastfeeding football hold) that is very effective for burping and calming a fuzzy baby.

If things (breastfeeding) doesn’t go smoothly (and for many it doesn’t), don’t beat yourself up. It’s ok. I had a hard time with it.
I found the best position to feed an infant is the Football hold. Once I discovered that hold after weeks of struggling with breastfeeding, it got a little easier.
Some of us were awake at 10 and 11 last night, offering sleep suggestions to CGar, who was probably already asleep at that time.
