Just call them. They make housecalls.
jackal — yeah, just don’t put any sliced cheese on any sandwich with meat and no pork or shellfish. And don’t send in milk or yogurt with lunch if there’s meat on the sandwich. Not sure what mayo’s problem is — it’s eggs and oil, basically, right? I guess the big additional issue is if they want packaged foods like veggie booty, chips, etc. to have rabbinic certification (more do than you might think).
Not much, unless you count the tomatoes in my fridge.
My mom has a bunch of old photos that I would love to have someday. I have rings from both grandfathers and cufflinks from one of them – the one I’m named after…his name was changed from Baruch to Biff when he came through Ellis Island.
Biff, I purchased Microsoft Office 2010 when I got my new laptop last year. I needed Word and Excel to work remotely. Of course, Outlook is still incompatible with my Verizon email. (Arkady, I tried the fix you suggested, but it didn’t work. Microsoft sucks.)
the Why, if you do attempt to ever take apart the computer, I would have a digital camera handy so that you can photograph a bunch of “before” pics (ie prior to you removing a component). this was super handy for me to know what was where etc. but I wouldnt recommend doing this if you computer is under warranty. btw, new computers with the Fabu AMD Fusion chips can be had in the 300’s – ie might not be worth repairing and simply just go buy new one
Lech – the slaughter process is different for halah is different from Kosher. Different prayer said during the killing. While they both drain the blood from the animal. Kosher meat is then salted. While muslims can eat Kosher and “Christian” meat. I do not think Jews are allowed to eat Halah.

“I do not think Jews are allowed to eat Halah.”
True. But they ARE allowed to eat Challah.
“Biff, what about you – any heirlooms?”

The most significant thing passed down to me through generations was the short gene. But, I don’t prize it in the least.
The Muslim people I stayed with would only eat meat slaughtered by a fellow Muslim.
I have nudie pics of myself that everybody passes up on.
