BSM!!!! – don’t get me started on House Hunters! – it drives me nuts how picky these people are. My favorites are when the people complain about the rugs and make it seem like they will not buy a house that has an ugly rug in it – or the paint in a certain room is red and this isn’t going to work for them
I mean are you serious?????? – i think the rest of the country is crazy when it comes to buying homes.
Titty Bars – I’ve been
Gay bathouses – sounds like fun. But not sure my husband would be into it (nh)
Try to find the worst Chinese food – I have. Just about every take out place in NYC.
Go to various ethnic neighborhoods and shout out racial epithets – I have. Okay not shouted, but said to the person or people I was with.
I have been watching too much “House Hunters” Everyone wants at least 2 bathrooms, and ensuite with doulble sinks, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. I saw one episode where the wife kept refering to herself as a preserationist and wanted a historic house. When the broker showed her one, she was confused as to why the bathroom was not attached to the master bedroom.
When I was growing up 99% of the people I knew had one bathroom. We started out with one, but got a second when my parents refinished the basement. Anyway, non of my friends came to school smelling funky. Somehow they all managed to wash before leaving the house including my best friend who grew up in a 3 bedroom apartment with 6 kids and 2 adults.
Any suggestions for unusual things to do in NYC?
-Kite surf at Plum Beach right off the Belt Parkway
-Kayak Jamaica Bay or Little Neck Bay
-Fishing charter out of Howard Beach (recommend Cpt. Mike’s)
-Ice Skating?
-Horseback riding at the riding academy in Canarsie.
-Walk the Highline Park in the Meatpacking district.
-Tour the Chrysler building
more?

What else can you recommend.
“When I was growing up 99% of the people I knew had one bathroom.”
Yup. And you also walked to school 3 miles and back, uphill in both directions.
Time for change, BSM. You won’t be able to hang on to those young boytoys living in the past with one bathroom and all the other mental baggage!!!!!

Lech – Much more enjoyable.

You’re an hour or so late, BHS. Shizuoka, specifically.
