Just had a meeting with our Japanese CEO. He apologized for the 10th time. I wanted him to spank himself too, but he just settled for apologizing for making my life hell. I never contradicted him.
I told him that this period is all about repair and transition. He offered to do a lot of very specific things for me.
lol Dave. I am guessing I’ll get a semi beatdown but it’s the truth :o(. Funny enough I didn’t like Tristle Hill Tavern at all (now I am definitely gonna get a beatdown).
I really want to try Giuseppina though. It’s the closest “fancy” pizza to my house so I really want it to be great but couldn’t even try it because of the humidity and heat inside.
I would love to take a tour of Greenwood but cemeteries freak me out.
I tried going to Giuseppina on Sunday. It was busy but not a big wait (maybe 5-10 minutes). We walked in and ended up walking right out because it was so hot and humid in that place (probably because of a small dining area and big stove) that it was impossible to even breathe in there. Maybe it was just that day but if it’s always like that, I wouldn’t be able to stay inside for more than 10 seconds. It was really bad.
We just walked across the street to Lot2 and had dinner there. Nothing that amazing and the menu in itself was very small with not many choices so we opted for burgers. Burgers were pretty good but not even close to the best burgers I had. Overall a decent place with good service but I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it.
Stay home on St. Patrick’s Day, ET. I was just joking about the parade. Normal people (including the Irish) do not venture out on that day.

I feel a little better about life.
But my new role model is the Honey Badger.
Kens – Lot2 has some of the highest amount of Health Code violations in Park Slope.
I want to try Giuesppinas!
Can anyone recommend a good place in Park Slope that I can take my mom to lunch on St. Patrick’s day???

re: Tenement Museum: I’ve been. And while I was there I was uninspired. Cause I grew up dirt poor in a railroad apt. not much different from that one.
“secret subway station under Atlantic Ave”
you mean the one that hundreds of people line up to get into. um, not so secret. Plus, I’ve been.
“Buzz-a-Rama”
You keep mentioning this. I want to check it out, but not this time.
