“Can anyone recommend a good place in Park Slope that I can take my mom to lunch on St. Patrick’s day???”
Gem – I don’t know if there are any left in Park Slope, but I like dive Irish bars. They ususally have basic but good food, burgers, fish and chips and cornbeef and cabbage. Nothing better than hanging out and hoisting a pint with some old timers.
Gem, really? Seemed like a pretty neat and tidy place. Very busy too (but not overcrowded). We were there at around 8pm on a Sunday and there was not one free table the whole time we were there.
“I need to go to East 80th in the city from my house now”

I’ve had good luck with Eastern Car Service recently.
Kens – Kaz a Nou in Prospect Heights is definitely good if you ever find yourself around the Slope and don’t want something boring.
BSM – yeah me too – but i don’t know of any pub style places run by Irish in Park Slope….
What a good car service in the slope?
