I really don’t understand what’s wrong with trying to figure out a way to make money from a situation good or bad, within a moral and legal framework, of course (ie, no overcharging for coffins).
People do it all day every day, betting on weather, political events, societal changes, etc.

The La Palma volcano is like the black guy computer programmer in Terminator 2 when the terminator just totally wasted everybody at the offices of that corporation and then the computer programmer stays back to blow the place up and he’s holding a detonator and he’s surrounded by barrels of explosives or something and then the swat team comes in and he looks up and them and looks at the detonator and he’s like “i don’t….think….i….can….hold…this….much…longer” and then all the swat team guys are like “holy shit!!!” and then the place blows up.

BSM – yep I already overnighted all my paperwork(death certificate/letters of testamentary/notarized proof of my signature etc) to the state last week – but they won’t release any info – so I found the old broker that were holding the stocks and was able to get info from them – so am hoping the state can turn this around and send me a check in the next 2 months.
