    there’s very few neighborhoods in brooklyn that don’t have open drug dealing.

  2. I think that Facebook (like most other tools) enhances traits that were already there.
    I don’t think Facebook leads to narcissism, but it certainly makes it “easier.”

    On the other hand, it also makes it easier for people interested in various causes to find others and organize.

  3. Dibs, I’ve got to say too that flipping the bird to a cop is really pushing your luck. You must have sensed that he was more or less mild mannered because some of them wouldn’t have reacted the same way….

    And i was talking about the bus driver ensuring a better ride for all, law or not. We rely too much on whether it’s legal or not, and that’s not another discussion. It’s an attitudinal problem.

  6. am sorry – but I joined the park slope parents blog a few weeks ago and while I know it will be VERY helpful to me after I have the baby – some of the posts are really really hilarious.
    Am starting to think that all of us have lost common sense and we don’t trust our own decisions making skills or simply don’t have these skills anymore b/c you can just go on the internet and ask someone else….
