Did anyone watch “Our America with Lisa Ling” last night? Last night’s episode was entitled “Pray the Gay Away?” It explored the question of what it means to be gay and a Christian. It was an interesting show. There were people of all ages, some who said they prayed fervently and God helped them become straight.
Incorrect. Everything you do is a product of your physical composition and the circumstances that surroud you. You only think you are acting with free will. Every act that you think is volitional is pre-determined. Even your thinking it is free will is pre-determined.
If every act is pre-determined. Then everyone who commits act against society, smoke, drink, have bad credit, etc. should be forgiven and the acts should be excused.
I understand, dear. Thought you were replying to dave’s lame attempt at elderly Jewish humor (as if someone his age named David should be poking elderly Jews).

“In Japanese, fag hag is “okoge” which translates literally is the crust of burned rice at the bottom of a rice cooker.”
Which, I believe, happens to be considered a ‘treat’ by some.

Words aren’t usually necessary, lech.
DIBS, obviously you’ve picked up Spanish terms that are useful in your everyday life.

“speaking of crown heights – anyone know anything about the rentals in the old jewish hospital up on Prospect and Classon?”
Sweetie- my first reply was for ET, and the second for DH- I didn’t reply to dibs at all.
Yes there is a renovated building known as the Jewish Hospital in CHN, which is now a rental.
Apology accepted 🙂
