i can’t be asked to do my own taxes. seriously. i tried to do them once before and the questions they ask are absurd.

  2. I wish I knew how it was possible for a refrigerator to get to over 100 degrees. I have never seen one above room temperature.
It is even more strange that the freezer compartment was still freezing, although the temp had gone up slightly due to the heat spilling over.

After having the door open for a few minutes, we put in a thermometer and it read 97.9.

Searching online I found 2 other cases where people with similar models had this happen. It is apparently caused by a a bad internal computer, which is why “rebooting” the refrigerator temporarily fixed it.

I heard it was a fire where it started on the top floor of a building in a disabled woman’s apartment – she died in the fire – no other reported deaths or injuries

  5. park slope is getting really bad press about the petition for that club not to open which is really stupid cuz 99.9% of the people who live in park slope dont care one way or the other. the only cool thing about this tho is that rents might go down.

  6. If the frig could be ‘built in’ to the wall, it would be pretty easy to suck in cold air in winter to a heat exchanger in the unit. In summer you cold exhaust the hot air outside to decrease cooling load: but it’s only about 1000btu

  7. DENTON! walking to the train this morning i passed there… it was before president street tho on 5th ave, police tape up and shattered glass everywhere. looked like a crime scene but didnt really smell like one
