No. If history is any indication, God-believers are more likely to be intolerant and possibly violent towards non-believers. Much bad stuff has been done in the name of religion over the centuries. And look at our current crop of church-going Republicans and Tea party-ers.
I would take a bet that there have been more psyhcos who said god or the devil made them do it than athiest.
In my unscientific observations, it seems like most people unhinged people who go postal are religious.
