Anyone else notice that today the What seems to be very much a friend of Dorothy’s? He waits until Benson announces he’ll be offline, then calls him out for a fight. Kind of straight out of the Cowardly Lion’s script: Put ’em up, put ’em up! Which one of you first? I can fight you both together if you want. I can fight you with one paw tied behind my back. I can fight you standing on one foot. I can fight you with my eyes closed. Oh, pull an axe on me, eh? Sneaking up on me, eh? Why, I’ll… Ruff!
Rob, it’s so true eharmony is “for the straight women in their 30s who’s eggs are slowly being depleted and really really REALLY need to snag a husband, stat” but any casual perusal of match.com will show that it’s for the 45-year-old heterosexual men who’ve only had sex twice in their lives.
snappy, a lesbian friend of mine who lives in SF was very shocked to use an online dating service and suddenly realize that if she emailed, met and/or had sex with someone from the site, but it didn’t work out, and she returned to the site, anyone she might mail or hook up with could also be someone the “ex” was mailing. Potential dates were also her competition. I guess that’s obvious, but never so much until she went online. The pool of lesbians in SF is also miniscule. In fact, I’m sure it’s smaller than in NYC. That’s what I keep telling her, anyway. Anything to convince her to move so she can stop bitching about how she’ll never own a place.
