Precise thinkers like slopey are very rare and I really enjoy talking to them. They don’t make broad and unsupportable generalizations. They don’t get too far out over their skis, so to speak.
I’ve decided a new pet peeve of mine:
precocious kids – I really hope my kid comes out normal – I don’t need them to be a little genius who will drive me nuts.

“Think spatial concept or handedness, dave, not correctness :)”
Consider this.
When you look in the mirror, your left hand is switched with your right hand and vice versa.
Same thing if you are lying sideways.
But your head and feet are never switched.
Why not?
“lech- if you were really being honest, you’d admit the righties do the exactly same thing- and even worse.”
Of course they do. I’ve never said differently.

http://therealdeal.com/newyork/articles/manhattan-residential-rents-up-8-percent-over-last-year-according-to-a-report-from-the-real-estate-group-ny
“that average rent was up just .4 percent from mid-January, but up 8.01 percent from the same time a year earlier.”
Think spatial concept or handedness, dave, not correctness 🙂
oh no – my thoughts are with Cgar! – that’s incredibly tough to have to put down a pet
Maybe, bxgrl, but they don’t call us “righties” for no reason!!!!!
