My chives, parsley, oregano, thyme and sage all come back every year. I’ve had no luck with perennial rosemary but in the community garden behind me in Philly there are some plants there that are 3′ tall and 3′ around!!!

The flip side to the civil servant jobs is that most private sector jobs are mmentally challenging and fun, not full of politics and bullshit. If I had to spend 20 years as a government employee I would have committed suicide or gone insane, like Pete.
