actually it looks like on my mid jan stub i wrote 2nd half of feb rent + bills and then on the end of january paystub wrote 1/2 of march + bills, so i guess i have it figured out right now. it’s just confusing as hell paying this way
“Interesting that they did not put up the billboard in a predominantly African American neighborhood. ”
My guess is that the real target of the ad was not African-Americans, but moderately liberal whites who currently support abortion but are against racism.
craaaaaaaaaaaaap something just occurred to me.. i get paid every 2 weeks and for many many months i’ve been paying 1/2 my rent and an approximated 1/2 my bills every 14 days. but that’s a 28 day cycle, for many months, 2-3 extra days x 6 months = 12-18 days that i’ve been paying extra, but now im not sure how to calculate that? i assume there should be a 2 week period where i dont pay to make up for those extra days? gah. like on monday when i get paid on the 28th of february, i have no clue what this rent is for.. it’s either for the last half of march or the last half of april, i am totally confused cuz i never wrote any of this down. 🙁

I wondered about that too. They had the guy from that Life organization on the radio and he was saying it was aimed at Black women because despite being 13% of the population, they account for 34% of the abortions and that abortion clinics tend to be placed in predominantly minority and low econ class nabes. So put the billboard up in Soho? Huh? Slight disconnect there.
The group is called Life Always. Never heard of them before either, but there are so many pro/anti groups out there it’s impossible to keep track.

I saw “Waiting for Superman” last night – wow what an eye opener that was. Did anyone else see it?
