My ex was once dragged out of the car in NJ for driving too slow (coming home from a gig at 4 in the morning). Back road, no other cars- except the NJ police. Same thing happened driving another time too. No explanation. I was freaked out. All the sirens and yelling.
Preston Smith Brooks was a Democratic Congressman from South Carolina, known for severely beating Senator Charles Sumner on the floor of the United States Senate May 1856 with a cane in response to a speech Sumner had given that referred to Brooks’s cousin.
Lidia made a wonderful tagliatelli pasta with ricotta and crushed walnuts and a bit of butter. I haven’t tried it yet but it really sounded good. The ricotta was mixed with the walnuts at room temp and the pasta + a bit of the pasta water was added.

BSM, not even raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens???
“known for severely beating Senator Charles Sumner on the floor of the United States Senate”
Somebody needs to beat Senator Charles Schumer.
“Forget all that rubbish – here’s important news: now that snow is gone I saw that tulip shoots are up about 4 inches in my garden”
Mine are up as well. There are very few things that make me happier than the first bloom of spring.
BSM, that shit is nuts, but sadly, not uncommon enough.
No problem BSM, I’m just jokin’ 🙂
Walnuts are actually deadly to me.

Two years ago would any of you ever have imagined that m4l and I would be bantering back and forth about cock sizes?????
Snappy, I’ve got walnuts at home.
