CGar, I already told you that I’m busy training the new staff! I can’t be asked to make coffee for you, too! You’re just going to have to come in off the deck and grind your own beans, and you know where the water is!
Wow, BHS, I saw a video of them running, well more like clumping across the pampas. They look really goofy. I never saw one in the flesh. Also saw some cool pictures of big ones with birds perched on their heads. Very hairy and wierd looking but cute in a very ugly kind of way.
g10, here’s my take on Carmelo trade:
– glad it’s over
– glad he on team; definitely an upgrade overall for the team
– pissed that idiot owner didnt listen to his team president but listened instead to idiot he fired years ago; paid too steep price to get Melo
– once Melo gets his 65M extension, kiss championship hopes goodbye; no more cap space to sign 3rd star unless Melo delirious enough to think 3rd star willing to sign for half of what he and Amare is making
– Melo is all about Money; winning is 2nd; unlike Lebron who took less money so he can play with his 2 buddies who also took less money; that’s how you get 3 stars on a team vs Amare & Melo now going to paid around same as those 3 stars in Miami (ie $41M for 2 vs $43M for 3 stars)
POLL: REASONABLE CONCERN OR NOT?
So the only preschool up in Irvington that will accept our 4 yo kid for the rest of the school year is the local Jewish community center. We signed him up. I have this nagging fear that he’s going to come home from his first day looking and talking like a miniature replica of Woody Allen.

I remember loving Capybaras as a kid – there were several at the zoo in Baton Rouge.
I had visions of how cool they would be as pets.

During the last Argentine fiscal crisis, I sent Mrs. D and da kid down to do some shopping. They came back with a Nutria coat and a green dyed mink. I think they were less than $100 ea.
