  1. Snaps, you can roast the garlic and stick it in a jar, mix in a bit of salt, pour a little olive oil over it just to keep the air out, and it will keep plenty long.

  2. just went to key west. cost $250 for a kinda dumpy older guest house for the 3 of house.
    Southernmost Hotel or Inn or something like that looked really interesting but have no idea what the cost. I imagine this is peak season thru Christmas.
    Something sounding like Ibis also looked good on internet and when we drove by – faces water – but not in the old town section.

  3. DonaT, I know, but I was hoping to make a true garlic spread and jar it for future uses as well as for tonight. Sigh. I guess that’s not gonna happen today 🙁
