I thought that all non-wine drinkers simply asked to have the glass removed if they were not interested.
I have also seen people who were marginally interested in the wine ask for a tiny amount to be poured, then have the glass removed if they did want want any more.
That would kill me dibs. In fact you should either refuse a glass when the table is being set or if it’s already set, ask the waiter to remove the glass.
