I just looked, current year budget shortfalls for 2012 projected at $125 billion cumulative. I think the feds can find a way to break that off.

I thought food costs were up for reasons unrelated to our tinkering. Something to do with more worldwide supply.

You got me there, I think we’re totally screwed long term in this respect. Just hoping for the next great invention to save the day like the rest of us earthlings.
