  1. I know that McSorley’s has a fraternity-douchebag reputation, but I’ve been there a dozen times or so and have not really seen it.
    Perhaps its because I usually go earlier in the day and almost always with people who have been going there for 20+ years.

    It was kind of cool when I was in Louisiana and my grandfather talked about going there during the 3 months he was stationed at the Brooklyn Naval Yard in WWII/

    I agree, but I won’t bring up math any more as we are approaching critical mass on the OT and I think the other plusas will go nuclear.

  4. Mashed potatoes are one thing that I never cheat with. Another one is “minute rice”

    I just back from a 100% certified moonface event. I may post about it tomorrow.

    I have an invite to a McSorley’s 157th birthday party with a friend who is somewhat of an old timer there, but he was going too early in the day and I still had work to do.
