DIBS, I feel the same way about Dylan that I felt about Miles Davis in his last days. He’s given us so much great music and added so much, he can do whatever crazy thing he wants. We’re free to ignore it all, but not to presume to tell them what to do. I didn’t have to listen to Miles coasting on Cindy Lauper tunes and I don’t have to listen to that damn Dylan Christmas record.
Stepped away from the desk but glad to see DH fielded the Brooklyn Heights subway question. As he said, the elevators at Clark St for the 2/3 trains are the only way to get to and from the platform. The R at Court St has elevators, which are much more preferable to the narrow, dark, awful stairway, in which a large homeless man usually camps out. It’s difficult to step over him on the way up and down. It’s not your typical subway staircase.
okay i just read somewhere that the average amount a person on food stamps PER PERSON one gets is 150 dollars a month. what.the.fuck!? i only spend like 50 dollars a month on food, why is the allotment so high? 150 dollars a months? hells id be eating like a f’ing king! im sorry but if you are on food stamps you should only get 25 dollars per person per month, you can stretch it if you really tried, i do!
Rob – how do spend only $50.00 on food? What’s your secret. Do you live on hot dogs and canned vegetables on sale?
Is it usially a long wait for the elevators? I mean what if there are like 50 people getting off the stop at the same time. This seems ridiculous.

Slopey, that was great!

Everyone lies about apartment sizes, and it does suck.”

Everyone lies about size on Craigslist, and it does suck.
Despite everything else, Lady gaga sure knows how to pick out a hat.

Bob Dylan needs to retire.

IMBY – that’s creepy. My kid has been to a few bday parties there. I didn’t see any news stories about it, so hopefully the kid wasn’t harmed.
The Money Pit was funny/bad. Would definitely make someone turn and run before buying a fixer upper in original condition.
