slope, Denver knows they win less post trade hence another reason for them dragging is trading at last minute allows the team record to be strong so that they might still make playoff after the dropoff post trade. I love how people who think nothing of going to a restaurant and dropping a couple of hundred dollars for a nice meal with alchohol, are going to say that it’s not so hard for families, not single people, but families, to survive on $75 a month. That’s $2.50 a day, for a family.
I don’t care how many coupons you clip, or sales you shop, that translates into no fresh veggies, no fruit, and little more than pasta, rice, beans, and stone soup. Then you can complain about how the poor have bad eating habits and are a drain on the economy with their diabetes, obesity, and other food related health problems. Is this Scrooge Monday?
RE melo situation, this is the exact reason why the NBA has lost so much respect/fans. all $$$ no soul. sucks. they should let the guys push and shove more too. there is no passion left in the game.

m4l — this melo thing is going to go down to the deadline. Denver keeps trying to stoke rumors of other teams making better offers than the Knicks to get Knicks to up the ante. Knicks are betting that there are only two choices for Denver, the deal on the table, and a free agent sign and trade in the summer with Wilson Chandler and that Denver will take the better deal. Melo ain’t saying much and letting everyone read the tea leaves, and now he has apparently been on a 21 day fast to do some soul searching. Aaauuuummmmmm. Unless someone offers Denver a good deal, Denver won’t be pulling the trigger until the very last moment.
